"The “Practical Guide for ESG Integration in Managers' Assessment”, by Abrapp and SITAWI Finanças do Bem, with support from the PRI and CDP, is an update of the publication “Guide to the Responsible EFPC: Selection and Monitoring of Outsourced Managers with ASG Criteria”, launched in 2017 by the same institutions.
The guide is an update of the 2017 edition, incorporating CMN resolutions 4.661/2018 and PREVIC 6/2018, which determine the integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues in the EFPC investment and risk management policy.
The main objective is to provide guidelines and tools to support institutional investors in the evolution of their responsible investment practices, in particular, in assessing the capacity of the outsourced manager to integrate ESG aspects into investment management. In addition to the EFPC associated with Abrapp, the Guide can also be useful to asset managers, as a guideline for incorporating responsible investment practices in their funds."
